Description of Duties

  • Maintain sales relationships and fill the sales funnel with new opportunities.

  • Complete discovery calls with leads to qualify work.

  • Provide any needed information for the Sales to Production Handoff.

  • Meet the Gross Profit (GP) Margin for the year by achieving the correct GP Margin on all sales.

  • Meet all sales goals - weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly.

  • Strive to meet all commission requirements on every sale.

  • Use company-provided estimate and proposal templates to share information with prospects.

  • Discuss opportunities for professional development.

  • Participate in Goal Setting and Review (GSR) Meetings and Annual Performance Reviews.

  • Ensure sales goals are met by executing tasks per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) demonstrated in reviews and ride-alongs.

  • Maintain an understanding of contract information



Skill Set & Experience

Education: Degree in business or communication / Negotiation with three years or more of sales experience, establishing relationships and working to provide solutions to Clients

Sales Skills: Proficiency in various sales techniques and understanding of the sales process are essential. The candidate should be skilled in identifying prospects, presenting products or services, handling objections, and closing deals.


Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the company’s products or services. This includes features, benefits, and how they meet the needs of different clients.


Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial. Able to articulate the value proposition clearly and persuasively to customers.


Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. This includes understanding client needs, providing excellent service, and managing accounts effectively.


Negotiation Skills: Adept at negotiating terms and closing sales deals that benefit the client and the company.


Goal-Oriented Mindset: Focus strongly on achieving sales targets and objectives. Be motivated by goals and results.


Problem-Solving Ability: Be able to identify and solve client problems or concerns quickly is crucial in maintaining client satisfaction and loyalty.


Adaptability & Flexibility: Adaptable to different personalities, market conditions, and changes in product lines is important.


Networking Skills: Able to network and generate leads through various channels, including social media, events, and referrals.


Time Management: Efficiently managing time to maximize sales opportunities and productivity is essential.


Resilience and Persistence: Resilience in rejection and persistence in pursuing sales goals are important traits.


Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, sales tracking tools, and basic office software can be beneficial in managing sales activities and client data.



Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales or account management experience

  • A valid drivers license without restrictions

  • Experience in the landscape industry is a plus
